Old Tudorian plays title role in touring production of Jane Austen's 'Emma'

Returning to the UK after filming Spartacus: House of Ashur in New Zealand, self-confessed "Jane Austen nut" and Old Tudorian India Shaw-Smith (class of 2013) is over the moon to be playing Emma, who she describes as "Austen's most meddlesome madam."
2025 is a special year for Jane Austen fans, as it marks 250 years since her birth. India made her Theatre Royal, Bath, debut, last month and you can catch her in the title role while the production is on tour:
