Everyone interprets our motto ‘I have that I may give’ differently and when you have a guided tour of Tudor Hall from one of our pupils, you must be sure to ask what it means to them …

Admissions

Choosing the right school for your daughter is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and we know that families need to feel certain that Tudor Hall is the right fit.

Our Open Mornings are usually held three times a year - in September, March and May - but we also host regular, more informal Open Friday events for prospective families.

Alternatively, we encourage you to arrange an individual visit to meet Julie Lodrick, our Headmistress, and have a tour with one of our Sixth Form students.

Come and discover the spark that is 'so Tudor'.

To arrange a visit, email admissions@tudorhallschool.com or call 01295 756259

Our Admissions team look forward to meeting you: Lucy Keyte, Director of External Relations, Elspeth Dyer, Registrar and Fiona Gaskin, Assistant Registrar.

Open Mornings

Open Mornings offer the opportunity for prospective families and girls to meet our Headmistress, Julie Lodrick, along with key members of teaching, pastoral and boarding staff, and of course our pupils. Visitors will have a tour of the school with Sixth Form guides, followed by refreshments and an informal Q&A to conclude the morning.

The next Senior School Open Morning will take place on Saturday 17th May, 2025.

Open Fridays

Families are also warmly invited to attend one of our regular Open Friday events which take place most months during term time. These offer an informal opportunity to explore Tudor on a typical school day, to find out more about our unique boarding and day experience. Places are limited for each Open Friday.

Open Friday - Summer Term 2025: Friday 6th June

Entry points & requirements

Girls choose to join Tudor Hall from schools across the UK and beyond at 11+, 13+ or 16+, joining Todd (Year 7), IIIs (Year 9) or LVI (Year 12). Occasionally places are available in other year groups; please call our Admissions team for availability.

Tudor Hall is a selective school; prospective pupils will be expected to sit entrance assessments and will have an interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The interview is deemed as the most important part of the process and places are offered to girls who it is felt will contribute to the life, character and spirit of the School.

Full details can be found in our Admissions brochure and Admissions Policy, below.
