Tudor Hall School Immersion programme for girls aged 11-17
We offer tailor-made opportunities in June, in the second half of our Summer Term, to host individual girls, or a group of girls, aged 11-17, for one, two or three-week immersion stays at our beautiful parkland campus.
As a leading all girls 11-18 boarding and day school on the edge of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire, we are only 1 hour from London and 25 minutes from Oxford. Tudor Hall girls are safe and secure – in every sense of the words – to be themselves and find their place in the world.
We are an accredited World Class School by High Performance Learning (HPL), the only one in Oxfordshire and one of a small number of independent schools in the UK awarded this prestigious accreditation, using the HPL framework which is based on cognitive and neuroscience research. All aspects of school life – from exceptional pastoral care to outstanding academic preparation - are designed to empower every girl to flourish.
Immersion at Tudor Hall - the student experience
We offer tailor-made opportunities in June, in the second half of our Summer Term, to host individual girls, or a group of girls, aged 11-17, for one, two or three-week immersion stays at our beautiful parkland campus.
The vast majority of pupils at Tudor Hall are boarders (more than 75% of all students) and around 15% of Tudor's community are international students.
During the day, individuals and small groups of immersion students are integrated into the Tudor Hall school environment and participate in appropriate lessons and activities, to gain authentic experience of our quintessentially British boarding school.
In the evenings, boarding and social activities may include, for example, movie nights in House, trips to the cinema, crafts or baking. Students can also make the most of our parkland grounds and facilities: on the swings, using the fitness suite, swimming pool, playing tennis, drawing in the art room, practicing music or simply going for a walk in our secure grounds with friends.
Immersion student requirements
Applicant pupils are required to take an online EAL test before we can offer them a place on this programme. It’s important their English is good enough to be able to access the academic and pastoral experience at Tudor Hall.
Students wear their own uniform and sports uniform including trainers. They will require a selection of home clothes to wear in the evenings and at weekends.
Individual immersion students will have the opportunity to join Tudor girls on the trips and activities that take place during their visit.
Immersion groups and their accompanying staff will enjoy additional cultural and experiential trips planned specifically for the group at weekends and during the week.
