tUDor At 175
Founded in 1850, Tudor Hall is one of the oldest girls’ boarding and day schools in the UK.
In 2025-26 we are celebrating everything that has made this possible, as well as focussing on the future of our great school for generations of girls to come.
Celebrating 175 years of Tudor Hall
Our celebrations have concentrated on bringing people together to reflect on the ethos and values that have shaped Tudor girls for the last 175 years. The 175th anniversary is a moment for the whole community to come together, as well as a chance to reflect on the school we want to flourish for the next 175 years. This year is one of celebration, reflection and fun, focussing on the Tudor of the past, the present as well as Tudor of the future.
Events in 2025-26
During our 175th year there are a series of events for members of the school community to celebrate our past, present and future. Specific events will be signposted for current families and girls, or Old Tudorians and Friends of Tudor Hall.
Updates will appear on our Instagram and Facebook pages; details and invitations will be sent to relevant individuals prior to each event.

OT Art Exhibition
The creative talent of 24 Old Tudorian professional artists, who attended Tudor between 1960 and the 2020s, was on show for all to enjoy at the OT Art Exhibition in March 2026, curated as part of the School’s 175 anniversary year of celebrations.
Remarkably, all bar one of the artists had been taught by current Head of Art Sheila Craske who, now in her 38th year at Tudor, continues to be an outstanding, inspirational teacher.
Pieces on show encompassed a wide range of materials, from oils and pastels, to bronze, ceramics, photographic prints and encaustic wax. Enormous thanks to all the artists, who kindly agreed to donate a percentage of the sale price to Tudor’s transformational bursary fund, and to those who have purchased artwork.
The full Exhibition Catalogue will be available to view here shortly.

We have collated a wealth of items from the school archives and items generously loaned by OTs. A selection from the archive of images, artifacts and stories have been gathered for the 175th anniversary of the school in the 175 gallery adjacent to the Ballroom.
Below is a sample of our 175 Tudor Over the Decades exhibition, showing just the start of the story of Tudor Hall School.
