Sixth Form
Sixth Form is one of the most exciting chapters of your educational story. Tudor gives girls the confidence to be themselves and go further than they ever thought possible.

The T6 experience
Sixth Form - or T6 as we call the Sixth Form experience at Tudor - is one of the most exciting experiences of any young person's educational journey. It is a bridge to future pathways and plays a crucial part in their personal development.
Whilst academic success is an important goal, Sixth Form is not all about passing examinations; rather it is about preparing young women for their life beyond school, in an ever-changing world.
There is a healthy balance between academic work and life beyond the classroom, and through our extensive co-curricular and super-curricular provision, girls at Tudor can discover what makes them tick, can stretch and challenge themselves to develop their skills and harness their energy and imagination to drive their passions.
We offer a wealth of opportunities across six key strands that enrich Sixth Form life: the T6 experience.

Sixth Form curriculum
With a choice of 24 A Levels and 2 vocational qualifications, Tudor Hall Sixth Formers can choose their own unique combination of subjects; the timetable is built around the option choices that the girls usually make in the Spring Term before joining LVI (Year 12).
Sixth Form life
Sixth Form life
All Sixth Form boarding and day girls are members of Inglis & Ashtons, our purpose-built Sixth Form House.
Our hugely experienced Sixth Form Housemistress, Lindsey Pickering, and Housemaster, Ryan Pickering are supported by an extensive pastoral team, including a Deputy Housemistress and resident Boarding Assistant, along with the wider Tudor Hall pastoral team, including our Deputy Head Pastoral and the Senior Housemistress.
If you have any specific questions on boarding life at Tudor Hall, please do not hesitate to contact admissions@tudorhallschool.com.

Moving into the Tudor Hall Sixth Form is an exciting next step after GCSEs. Current Tudor girls and new joiners to the Sixth Form are invited to a packed programme of activities in the Summer Term to support their transition.
Sixth Form induction week (see an example of the activities above) takes place at the end of the Summer Term to support Year 11s (Vs) to prepare for life in the Lower Sixth.
Sixth Form outcomes and destinations
Tudor Hall’s Sixth Form provides excellent value-added in terms of the outcomes for Tudor girls: our value-added places Tudor in the top 16% of all schools nationally for A Levels and equivalent exam grades.
The majority of Sixth Form leavers gain grades that allow them to take up places at their first choice university. In 2025 these include Oxford University, UCL, Durham, Exeter, Newcastle, Bristol, York and many more.
The diversity of destinations and courses is particularly striking, with girls achieving places at prestigious institutions that include Glasgow School of Art, the Royal Agricultural University and Cordwainers at London College of Fashion. Tudor girls are taking up places to study on highly competitive courses for PPE, Architecture, Theatre and Film, and Biomedical Science. The strength in depth of the girls’ achievements sees them studying a wide range of subjects including Art History & Curating, Psychology, Ceramics and Master of Nursing.
