LVI pupil’s Charity Fashion Show highlighted in global High Performance Learning update
Huge congratulations to LVI pupil Honor for organising and managing in its totality a charity fashion show raising funds for international charity Heal.
Two terms of detailed planning for her EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) created a feast for the eyes, with runway fashion created by both the girls themselves – showcasing their extraordinary textiles and design skills - and a host of professional designers in the worlds of fashion and jewellery who are Old Tudorians. A packed audience of pupils, parents, staff and OTs supported the event and enthusiastically cheered for every model and outfit.
Honor worked tirelessly to pull together all the elements that made the show such a success, from publicity, pre-show catering and organising the excellent music performances, to the show itself.
The show also recently featured in the High Performance Learning update that goes to all HPL schools around the world: “What a lovely example of HPL outside the classroom with Honor confidently demonstrating the VAAs (Values, Attitudes and Attributes) of being collaborative, concerned for society, creative and enterprising and huge amounts of resilience! Her ACPs (Advanced Cognitive Performance characteristics) included originality, flexible thinking and imagination!”
Tudor Hall is a High Performance Learning pathway school, the only one in Oxfordshire and one of fewer than 15 independent schools in the UK working towards the prestigious World Class School accreditation based on cognitive and neuroscience research.
Heal is a charity supporting disadvantaged families in India to escape from poverty, with a longstanding link to Tudor’s Ti3C (Tudor in Three Continents) international outreach programme.
