What can the Tudor Hall Summer Camp offer you?
Tudor Hall’s Summer Camp Manager says:
“The Tudor Hall Summer Camp provides children from 5 to 11 years of age with a safe and structured environment in which they can take part in a wide variety of sporting, craft and other activities. The camp runs five days a week for five weeks during the state school’s summer holiday, enabling children to sample new sports, make friends and spend lots of time outdoors – it’s a proper al fresco camp! Children take part in either the 5-7 year group or the 8-11 year old group.
“Many of the sessions are run by Tudor Hall staff and enable the children to benefit from not only the staffs’ passion for their subject but our fabulous facilities too. We mirror our termtime co-curricular activities, offering something for everyone, such as baking, art and ceramics, crafts to swimming, fitness training, and IT. Every day involves a balanced mix of physical and creative activities.
Whenever possible, the children swim every day and it’s fantastic to see non-swimmers turning into confident swimmers.
“Single sports camps definitely benefit children if they’re mad keen on a particular sport but many get demotivated if they stick to the same activity for more than an hour, so we really ring the changes throughout the day. Getting the balance of physical versus less strenuous activities right is important, and on the whole we aim to run a 50/50 split. Our experienced team of staff love running the camps, reinforcing our Tudor Hall School motto ‘I have that I may give’.
