Tudor Hall Staff complete Stratford Marathon and Half-Marathon, raising funds and awareness towards transformational Bursaries

Over the past few months, dedicated staff from both schools have been training for this event, with some attempting their first 21.1km or 42.2km run. Despite the challenges, their determination never wavered, resulting in a fantastic outcome. The funds raised will be used to support bursaries that transform the lives of deserving students.

Later that afternoon, the school also held its annual Colour Run, adding even more excitement to the day. This year, the event was organised to raise awareness and funds for Encephalitis International, with an additional donation going towards the Shakespeare Marathon team's efforts for transformational bursaries.

The whole community was involved, many running the three-kilometre route that wound through the grounds, featuring slip and slides, tyre and hay bale obstacles, and six paint-throwing stations! The Charity Committee set the mood with a disco warm-up, followed by a confetti cannon blast to kick off the run. Notably, two intrepid staff members who had earlier completed the Half-Marathon returned to take part.

Congratulations to all the staff who took part in the Marathon and Half-Marathon, and thank you to everyone who supported them. A big thanks also to the Charity Committee for making the Colour Run such a success.
