Move-it Monday
Monday 29 June 2020 4.30pm - 5.15pm

Get ready to move with the PE department! Led by Director of Sport, Miss Lauren Ellis, we invite you to get up and get active! Lots of rhythmic, energetic fun to be had and culminating in handy athletics hints and tips to practise your skills this summer - just like sports day, but at home! All you need are some comfy clothes you can move in and a little bit of space indoors or out.

Restless Earth
Tuesday 30 June 2020 4.30pm - 5.15pm

Study violent volcanoes with Geography teacher, Mrs Louise Harper and Classics teacher, Miss Lindsey Cullen. In this session you will learn about one of the most famous volcanic eruptions in history, investigate what makes volcanoes so dangerous and if you wish, have a go at making your own!
To join in with making your own volcano, you will need the following equipment and ingredients:
Outside space (so your volcano can erupt!)
1 small bowl
1 cup
1 empty fizzy pop bottle
1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tbsp of washing up liquid
2 tbsp water
100 ml of vinegar
Red food colouring (to make it look really authentic!)

Wednesday 1 July 2020 4.30pm - 5.15pm

Join in with improvisation and storytelling with Drama teacher, Mr Alan Christopher. In this session you will learn how to create a story in 5 easy steps. So whether you want to create for the page, the stage, or the screen, you will leave this session with the foundations of your story or script, ready for publication or performance.

Language Lab
Thursday 2 July 2020 4.30pm - 5.15pm

Interactive language fun with language teachers, Ms Holly Thomas and Mr Matthew Harper.
Fun language games for beginners or those who have already begun to learn a language, this session will focus on counting in German and describing yourself in Spanish. Please do not worry if you don’t want to speak in front of the group – if you have a piece of paper or card with Germany written on one side and Spain on the other, you will still be able to get involved.
In our celebration of languages, we also invite you to share your language skills at the end of the session. Do you speak any other languages and could you share a few words? Do you have anything from another country which you would like to show us?

To book on to any of the above events, please click here. You can choose to attend one or all of the sessions. You will be contacted by a member of the Tudor Hall School team once your booking form has been received with further instructions on how to 'virtually' join the events. We look forward to 'seeing' you very soon!
