Pottery Painting

On Sunday we went to Design Away Pottery Painting. We all chose one thing we wanted to paint, e.g. a plate. You could design the plate in lots of different patterns and colours. Some people chose to do a sponge background and then paint over the top because it gave a nice look, others decided to paint with a thin brush and draw a picture.

At the end of the session Jenny, the lady in charge, took our pottery
away to be ‘fired’ in a kiln. We are longing to see the results!
Altogether it was a really fun trip out and can’t wait to see our finished pottery.
