The new Teaching Centre is the largest and most ambitious addition to Tudor Hall facilities to date and sits at the heart of the school site. Designed to provide teaching spaces for the core subjects of Mathematics and English, and specialist classrooms for the creative arts, the Teaching Centre will transform the teaching provision the school offers. The new build will include:
- Eight light, modern classrooms for Mathematics and English
- Purpose-built studios for Textiles and Ceramics, including spaces for a kiln and glazing facilities
- A spacious, modern and professional kitchen for Food & Nutrition
- A photography studio
Work commenced in March 2018 and the building is due for completion in time for the Summer Term 2019.
The total cost of the building currently stands at £5.2 million. Since 2016 £2.2 million has been raised through philanthropic giving and we are seeking to raise a further £300,000 from the extended Tudor community. We have been hugely encouraged by the support of parents who have already donated to this project. Please consider making a donation now. Every gift, whether large or small, takes us another step closer to achieving our goal.
If you would like to make a single or regular donation, please download and complete a Gift Form or for further information, please call Rachel Graves in the Development Office on 01295 756287 or email: email@example.com.
Sponsor a Paving Stone
We are now offering the community a new opportunity to get involved through the sponsorship of paving stones. The 30 x 15cm granite stones will be situated in the paved area to the front of the Teaching Centre and will form an integral part of the external landscaping. The stones can be personalised with name and date. To sponsor a stone, we ask for a donation of £1,000 (or £800 + Gift Aid for UK taxpayers) which can be made as a single gift or spread across one or two years.
If you would like to take advantage of this unique opportunity to mark your association with the school, please complete the Gift Form and return it to: Development Office, Tudor Hall School, Wykham Park, Banbury, OX16 9UR
