Tudor is thriving; we have talented staff and strong numbers. Academically our girls have consistently achieved outstanding A Level and GCSE results which have been matched by extraordinary achievements across the co-curriculum. Tudor has always sought to be forward thinking and strategic in its approach. We aim to provide the best possible education for current pupils and future generations. To do so, it is essential we ensure excellent facilities support the girls to develop their talents and fulfil their potential. Following our successful redevelopment of the old squash courts into a state-of-the-art drama studio, we are focussing the next phase of development on a new Teaching Centre.
The New Teaching Centre will be at the heart of the school and will include:
- Eight light, modern classrooms for Maths and English
- Purpose-built studios for Textiles and Ceramics, including spaces for a kiln and glazing facilities
- A spacious, modern and professional kitchen for Home Economics
- A photography studio
Tudor Hall is a well-managed and carefully financed school, but it does not have an endowment. All development and refurbishment comes from fees and philanthropic support. We are ambitious for the girls and want them to have the facilities they need and deserve. We are asking you to join us in realising this ambition, helping to ensure Tudor Hall’s continuity as a model of all that is best about an independent, girls’ boarding school education.
The total cost of the building is £3.6 million. £2.4 million is being funded by Tudor and we seek to raise a further £1.2million. We have been hugely encouraged by the support of parents who have already donated £1million to this project. We will be breaking ground in the summer of 2017 and complete in time for the start of the academic year in September 2018. Please consider making a donation now. Every gift, whether large or small, takes us another step closer to achieving our goal.
