Tennis anyone?

For the second year running, Tudor Hall held a tennis day for local junior schools in the area.  Forty-nine Year Five pupils came from a number of schools: Harriers Ground Community School, Chandlings Manor School, Shenington Primary School and St. John’s Priory School.

Professional tennis coaches spent the day putting the pupils through their paces, teaching them sending and receiving skills, serves, and ending with a fun-based competition.  In spite of the blustery and cool playing conditions, the pupils’ consensus was that tennis was ’wicked’ and now wanted to join their local tennis club (and even come to Tudor Hall - boys included!).  Another highlight of the day that everyone commented on was the food provided by Tudor Hall!
