School nurses on the frontline

Habeo ut Dem Health

The Tudor Hall community is fortunate to have a wonderful Health Centre team looking after us night and day.  But in the lockdown period, our nurses have donned PPE and gone back to frontline nursing.  Janet Bonham is back working at Bicester Hospital, caring for both Covid and non-Covid patients.  She swabbed positive for Covid-19 and had nine days off work, but was back on the ward as soon as her isolation period ended.  Lindsey Pickering has returned to A&E at the Horton Hospital and has been working nights.  In addition, Caroline Hutchison has taken on a different but equally important nursing role, working from home to coordinate the Shipston Home Nursing team, providing palliative care to end of life patients in their own home.  Thank you Janet, Lindsey and Caroline for all you are doing in such difficult circumstances - we salute you.
