A career in politics

We were delighted to welcome Old Tudorian Christine Wallace to deliver our latest careers talk on Public Service, Civil Service and Intelligence.

Christine left Tudor in 2014 and now works in the House of Commons as a caseworker and researcher to the South African Trade Envoy, having previously worked with the UK Security Minister.  She told us about how her career has developed from her involvement in Model United Nations at Tudor, via volunteering and working as in intern in the House of Commons, to the stimulating and interesting work she does today.  The talk was of great interest to girls of all ages, from those in Year 8 just getting involved with Model United Nations, to senior girls studying politics and considering their next steps.  Christine was delighted to see some of the teachers who helped her get where she is today, and staff and girls alike were inspired by her story. Thank you Christine – we look forward to hearing where your career takes you!
