Frantic Assembly drama workshop

Drama Aim Higher

Actor Gavin Maxwell of the renowned theatre company Frantic Assembly visited Tudor this week to deliver a devising and physical theatre workshop for our UVI drama and theatre A-level students. As part of their A-level course, the girls are required to create an original piece of drama utilising the working methods of an established theatre practitioner. Frantic Assembly is well known for its exciting, high energy productions and for adapting plays for the stage in physically innovative ways. Tudor girls were joined by sixth form drama students from the Warriner School and enjoyed a challenging and vigorous 2-hour workshop. The students did not sit down once! Thank you to Gavin for an absolute masterclass and for inspiring the girls and boys to work out of their comfort zones and produce some genuinely thrilling performance work.
