Priscilla Bain (Miss Blunt) who was Headmistress from 1960-1967 and her husband, Joe spent the day at Tudor with 15 of “her girls” on what was the hottest day of the year so far.

The day started with Pimms on the terrace followed by a delicious lunch in the dining room.   Most of the OTs hadn’t been back to the school for many years. They were impressed with the new buildings but thrilled to see that many of their old haunts were almost as they remembered them and that the relaxed, family feel of the school was still evident.   Entertainment provided by the Music and Drama Department, followed by tea, brought the day to a close.

Miss Blunt left the party with cheers and applause from her girls, none of whom could believe it was more than 40 years since they had left!
