It was a gourmet experience when Pheobe Taylor, Lydia Whitehouse and Charlotte Hill took part in the Banbury Rotary young chef competition.
All three girls did very well, with Pheobe's meal earning her the running up position. She cooked pheasant breast in a leek and bacon sauce on grain mustard mash and stir fried cabbage. This was followed by plum tort served with crème Fraiche.
