READ Book project

Following an appeal from the READ Book Project charity which is based in Oxford, a number of Tudor Hall departments had a major spring clean recently and donated several hundred textbooks which will be shipped out to schools in Tanzania.
The books will make a major difference to the young students in Tanzania, a country where the average amount spent on textbooks is less than £17 per child per year.
The photograph shows Emma Wolton, the Book Collection Project Leader, presenting a certificate of appreciation to one of our juniors, while willing volunteers load the last of our donated books into the collection van.
