There is a tradition at Tudor that every year Todd throw a party for the Bloxham Lunch Club, a group of Bloxham residents that meet every Tuesday lunchtime. The tradition started 18 years ago and current Housemistress to Todd, Lesley Evans, arranged it this year on Sunday 2^nd December in the school’s ballroom.

Mrs Pat Angel runs the Bloxham Lunch Club and she brought nine elderly ladies with her on Sunday. There was tea and biscuits, followed by singing and drama sketches from the girls. One pupil sang her own contemporary version of ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ penned by her mother and another pupil played a piano piece. After a raffle Santa and his reindeer delivered presents to the visitors.

Mrs Angel stood up at the end and congratulated the girls and staff for a wonderful afternoon and was amazed at how much effort had gone in to entertaining the group. Mrs Evans has said of the event: “It was lovely to see two different generations talking about their lives and getting on so well.”
